Estrellas de la música se pronuncian tras fallecimiento de Neil Peart

Neil Peart, baterista legendario que ha dejado su huella, formado e inspirado a otras leyendas de la música como Mike Portnoy, falleció el día de hoy, viernes 10 de Enero del 2020 a los 67 años de edad. Según información que maneja Rolling Stone, el músico falleció debido al tumor cerebral que se le había diagnosticado hace tres años.

Además, el portavoz de la familia, Elliot Mintz, confirmó que la triste noticia sucedió el martes pasado en Santa Mónica, California.

La última vez que Rush salió de gira fue en 2015 y Neil Peart se fue a descansar a su casa para pasar más tiempo con su esposa Carrie Nuttal y su hija Olivia.

There are drummers and then there is Neil Peart. I believe for most of us he was the “one”. I would Rush ( no pun) home from school to play Natural science , subdivisions and numerous other tracks. His playing helped shape the drummer I am today. RIP professor .I💜Neil Peart
